Application Process

Explore our volunteer projects and select an appropriate internship/voluntary work/teacher exchange that suites you best. If you are not sure or need more information, please contact us via email, WhatsApp, or you can schedule a zoom call. We will be ready to answer all of your questions/help you select a project that suites your needs.

Fill out the application form with the correct contact information, the project of your choice, and the number of weeks you would like to volunteer. One of our representatives will contact you as soon as possible to confirm your details.

Note: If you are coming to do your internship, you need to send us contact information for the teacher who takes care of international internships in your school. We will contact him/ her about the contract.

  • We will confirm from the placement that they have a possibility for you to work.
  • We will make a contract with the placement of your choice and send it to you to be signed by you (and your school).
  • At latest at this point you need to book your flights to Kilimanjaro International Airport and send us your flight details.

Note: When you book your flights remember that you can stay only exactly 3 months in Tanzania with your Student Visa. (e.g if you enter the country on 3rd of March you need to exit latest on 2nd of June)

We will send you the invoice and instructions for a proper working permit.

Make sure that your passport is valid 6 months after you trip.

Get adequate insurance for yourself and your luggage

  • Get all the vaccinations needed:
    • Hepatitis A – Recommended 
    • Hepatitis B – (Optional) Vaccination against hepatitis B depends on your personal situation
    • Yellow fever (You will need to show your vaccination certificate at the airport upon arrival)
    • MMR­ vaccination – (Mumps Measles Rubella) vaccination is recommended to anyone who has not been vaccinated against measles or has experienced the disease.
    • Get malaria prophylaxis. There is a risk of getting malaria. Protection against mosquito bites is necessary during day- and nighttime. Sometimes malaria tablets are recommended.
